"Rant Night" was born out of the need to decompress and, well, rant (bet you didn't see that one coming). Locked into year 2 of a 2-year graduate program, we (the fabulous four who shall not be named) decided that we needed a night devoted to catching up and, well, ranting. While topics were originally contained to school ranting and complaints (a theme that would continue throughout the year and well into our post-grad life), it became a time of catching up, ranting, gossip, and hot takes.
As such, this blog, to honour the legacy of Rant Night, will contain rants (lots of rants), stories, and hot takes. There will also be food, as no good Rant Night can take place without good food! Although, the recipe, if included, will always be first, as it should be! Honestly, don't even get me started about foodie blogs with the long, drawn-out story of the author's journey to boil the perfect egg! It's probably best to not get into a rant in the introduction! Instead, you will just have to scroll past the giant food picture because I can't figure out how to make it smaller. Someone can go and write a blog post and rant about me!!
Either way, I am excited to have you join me for Rant Night whether as an honourary member or one of the OG (you know who you are)! Feel free to join the comments to continue the rant or provide your own hot take on the subject! While I always have an opinion, feel free to give yours!
